15, 2005 Goodwill of North Florida held our Annual
Striving to Succeed Luncheon where we highlighted
our "2005 Achievers of the Year".
Adam Barkley, Kevin Mahaffey, and Martin Dietel were the three
participants chosen out of thousands of possible
honorees. They demonstrated great willingness,
persistence, and motivation in successfully
overcoming profound barriers to employment.
Goodwill of
North Florida Places Over 7,000 People In Jobs In
2005
Goodwill of
North Florida placed 6,200 people into employment
last year!
In 2005,
Goodwill of North Florida ranked 4th among all Goodwills
nationwide for the number of people placed into
jobs. Goodwill of North Florida offers
free job training and placement services to the 14
county area we serve (including Duval, St. Johns,
Alachua, Baker, and Putnam counties). For more

Goodwill

Members honored Goodwill of North Florida with
Resolution 2003-1500-A on January 27, 2004.
Resolution 2003-1500-A is

Resolution Honoring and Commending Goodwill
Industries of North Florida for Over 60 years of
outstanding work in the Jacksonville Community."
